Eväät ovat tunnetusti retken kohokohta. Olitpa liikkeellä suksin tai jalan, repusta löytyvien eväiden pitää paitsi maistua ja ilahduttaa, myös antaa riittävästi energiaa mahdollisesti pitkäänkin päivään. Parhaat eväät tunnistaa siitä, että niiden valmistaminen on helppoa ja mukavaa! Maistuvat lounasleivät ja helpot energiapatukat houkuttelevat myös lapset mukaan eväiden valmistukseen. 
Kokeile perinteisten voileipien sijaan täytteeksi erilaisia tahnoja. Voit tehdä tahnat valmiiksi jo edellisenä iltana, jotta liikkeellelähtö sujuu reippaasti retkipäivän aamuna. Tahnoihin saa helposti erilaisia makuja peruspohjaa muuntelemalla. Näin eväslaatikosta löytyy varmasti syötävää jokaisen makuun. Lounasleipien lisäksi mukaan on syytä pakata jotain makeaa. Kun vauhti alkaa hiipua, itse tehty energiapatukka on terveellinen tapa saada puhtia lykkimiseen.

Puolita tomaatit, poista siemenet ja pilko pieniksi kuutioiksi. Hienonna persilja ja halutessasi kevätsipulin varret. Sekoita tuorejuusto, ranskankerma, kinkkurouhe, tomaatit ja persiljasilppu tahnaksi. Mausta mustapippurilla. Voitele leivänpuolikkaat pestolla. Levitä tahna toiselle puolelle ja paina leivät päällekäin. Leikkaa kolmioiksi.

Halkaise avocadot ja poista kivet. Soseuta esim. sauvasekoittimella tahnaksi. Lisää hieman suolaa ja sitruuna- ja/tai limemehua. Sekoita tuorejuusto, ranskankerma ja lohi tahnaksi. Mausta tarvittaessa sitruunapippurilla. Voitele leivät avocadotahnalla. Levitä toiselle puolelle lohitahnaa. Asettele päälle korianterinlehtiä ja paina leivät päällekäin. Leikkaa kolmioiksi.

Halkaise avocadot ja poista kivet. Soseuta esim. sauvasekoittimella tahnaksi. Lisää hieman suolaa ja sitruuna- ja/tai limemehua. Keitä kananmunat. Hienonna haarukalla ja lisää raejuusto. Sekoita avocadotahnaan. Laita toiselle leivälle kinkkuleike, toiselle juustosiivu. Levitä päälle avocadotahna ja lisää paprikasiivut. Laita leivät päällekäin ja leikkaa kolmioksi. Leivät voi halutessaan voidella esim. maustamattomalla tuorejuustolla.

Sekoita mantelit ja pähkinät tehosekoittimessa rouheeksi. Lisää haluamasi mausteet / lisukkeet. Ala lisätä vähitellen taateleita. Jos massa tuntuu liian kuivalta, lisää hieman vettä tai hunajaa. Massaa voi muotoilla käsin. Painele massa kelmulla vuorattuun vuokaan ja laita jääkaappiin muutamaksi tunniksi / yön yli niin, että massa on jähmettynyt. Leikkaa massasta haluamasi kokoisia patukoita. Kääri patukat yksittäin leivinpaperiin, josta niitä on helppo syödä.
