Olemme iloisia ja ylpeitä voidessamme ilmoittaa, että Stala ONE -tuoteperhe on voittanut arvostetun Red Dot: Product Design 2025 -palkinnon – kansainvälisesti arvostetun tunnustuksen erinomaisesta muotoilusta.
Red Dot Award: Product Design on yksi maailman arvostetuimmista muotoilukilpailuista, jossa on korostettu muotoilun innovatiivisuutta, toimivuutta ja esteettisyyttä jo vuodesta 1955. Vuonna 2025 kilpailuun osallistui tuotteita yli 60 maasta, ja niitä arvioi 43 riippumattoman asiantuntijan kansainvälinen raati 21 eri maasta. Jokainen tuote arvioitiin neljän keskeisen muotoiluperiaatteen mukaisesti: toiminnallisuus, houkuttelevuus, käytettävyys ja vastuullisuus.
Palkinnon saaminen korostaa Stalan sitoutumista suomalaiseen muotoilun ja kestävän toiminnallisuuden yhdistämiseen. Stala ONE -allasperhe edustaa uuden sukupolven keittiöratkaisuja – elegantti, älykäs ja huolellisesti suunniteltu vastaamaan nykyaikaisen kuluttajan tarpeisiin.
"Olemme syvästi otettuja ja ylpeitä saadessamme Red Dot -palkinnon jo toistamiseen. Tämä on vahva osoitus tiimimme sitoutumisesta tuotteisiin, jotka ovat sekä käytännöllisiä että visuaalisesti kiinnostavia, ja ennen kaikkea vastuullisia”, kertoo Pasi Härkönen, Stalan toimitusjohtaja.
STALA ONE ilmentää suomalaisen muotoilun ydintä. Se yhdistää toiminnallisuuden saumattomasti pohjoismaiseen minimalismiin ja asennusmenetelmiin. Allastuoteperhe tuo vastuullisuuden keskiöön, mikä on huomioitu niin tuotantoprosesseissa, energialähteissä, materiaalikäytössä sekä pakkaussuunnittelussa. Lopputuloksena markkinoille tuotiin täysin ilmastovähennetyt ruostumattomat teräsaltaat, jolla Stala kuvaa sitoutumistaan ilmastomatkaan sekä jatkuvan parantamisen ideologiaan.
Esimerkkeinä tuloksista voidaan mainita 70% energian käytön vähentäminen pesuprosessin aikana, 75% vedenkulutuksen vähentäminen tuotantoprosessissa, 25% ruostumattoman teräksen käytön vähentäminen tuotteen pääkomponentissa*, 100% kierrätettävä pakkaus sekä 100% uusiutuvan tuulivoiman käyttö tehtaalla. Tämä on jo toinen Red Dot -palkinto Stalalle, mikä paaluttaa yrityksen asemaa pohjoismaisen muotoilun eturintamassa. Stala sai vuonna 2023 Red Dot Award: Product Design 2023 -palkinnon kuvioiduilla ruostumattomilla StalaTex-teräspinnoillaan. Tällöin voitto tuli yhdessä ruotsalaisten suunnittelijoiden, Gert Wingårdhin ja Matti Klenell’n, kanssa yhteistyönä tehdyistä StalaTex -mallistoista. [Lue lisää >]

Red Dot -palkinto on nykyään kansainvälisesti arvostettu huippumuotoilun laatuleima, ja palkitut työt esitellään vuosikirjoissa, museoissa ja verkossa ympäri maailmaa.
